Dr Emma Robinson

Emma is a Clinical Psychologist and Accredited Family Therapist (AAFT) with significant experience using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) amongst other therapeutic approaches to help people manage stress, anxiety and depression.

Emma has had extensive experience working in anxiety clinics (Macquarie University anxiety clinic and St Vincents Hospital anxiety clinic - CRUfAD). Emma has also been involved in the development of online anxiety programs for anxiety and depression at St Vincent’s Hospital as well as working as a content developer at the Mindspot clinic at Macquarie University.

Emma incorporates a Bowen family systems approach to an individual’s unique challenges. She is particularly interested in the way family background and relationships can influence anxiety and stress as well as the development of illness.

Emma is a AHPRA endorsed supervisor and provides Clinical Supervision and coaching to other health professionals including clinical psychologists. She is a Fellow of the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society.

  • Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (Macquarie University)

  • B Psych (Hons 1 University of Sydney)

  • Accredited AHPRA approved Supervisor for Clinical Psychologists

  • Full member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and Fellow of the Clinical College .

  • Clinical Member of AAFT (Australian Association of Family Therapy).

  • Advanced Certificate in Bowen Family Systems Theory and Practice (The Family Systems Institute www.thefsi.com.au)
